Prior to the Edinburgh Castle show on Saturday 23 July, the band were presented with a special award from the promoters, Castle Concerts. This was to mark the six sold out shows that Runrig have performed at the venue since 1991, and spanning 25 years, currently the record for the most appearances by any artist.
